RFPs and Reporting

The Freshwater Collaborative of Wisconsin receives $5 million per biennial budget from the Wisconsin State Legislature. These funds are distributed to the UW institutions through a Request for Proposal process. Questions about RFPs or grants that have been awarded? Please email rfp-questions@uwm.edu.


Reporting Requirements

The Freshwater Collaborative is currently collecting evaluation data for continuing completed projects. The data collected from this survey will be used to communicate the collective work of the Freshwater Collaborative to its academic, community, governmental, and industry partners as well as to the Wisconsin State Legislature. 

Each PI with a project completed will receive an email from noreply@qualtrics.uwm.edu that includes a custom link to a survey specific to their project. Only one survey per project is required. For surveys with multiple PIs, please coordinate to gather necessary data and complete the survey. 

If you do not receive a link by Jan. 6, please email rfp-questions@uwm.edu. The survey is due by Feb. 3, 2024.

Award Change Requests

If you have a current award from the Freshwater Collaborative and need to request a change to program timeline, activities, partners, PI, lead institution, funding, or project goals and objectives, please use the form below.

Funds designated for salary and fringe vary from what was approved in the original grant. No additional funds can be moved to salary and fringe, and no funds from fringe and salary can be moved to other categories.
