The University of Wisconsin-Superior’s Lake Superior Research Institute will host After the Flush: Exploring Careers in Water Resource Recovery on May 7 from 5:15-7:45 p.m. The presentation will take place at Thirsty Pagan Brewing, located at 1615 Winter Street, Superior, Wisconsin, 54880.
Presenters will include Megan Hogfeldt (Water Resources Specialist, City of Superior), Erik Johnson and Ryan Ihrke (Sustainability Specialists, Resource Renew), and professional staff from Resource Renew and City of Superior’s Environmental Services Division.
Following the presentation and dinner, the event will continue with a tour of the City of Superior’s Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Dinner will be provided for those who register by May 6. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions and to network with potential employers throughout the event.
