UW Oshkosh Offers Summer Internships and Research Opportunities for UW Students

UW Oshkosh has three programs available to any UW student interested in gaining hands-on experience this summer.

Multiple paid part-time positions are available for Great Lakes Plastic Debris and Microplastics research positions that support new US EPA, Wisconsin Coastal Management, and NOAA funded projects; Door or Manitowoc County Field research assistants that support US EPA Great Lakes Restoration Initiative projects; and Well Water Testing and/or Environmental Health positions that support the Environmental Health (EH) Program in Vilas County. A part-time paid internship with the Clean Boats Clean Waters (CBCW) program, which focuses on Aquatic Invasive Species in the Vilas County area and provides information to the boating public regarding AIS prevention. More at UW Oshkosh Clean Boats 2022 Internship FINAL 01-11-22

A three-credit Environmental Field Sampling & Analysis course that takes advantage of the Environmental Research and Innovation Center (ERIC) at UW Oshkosh as well as the UW Oshkosh remote laboratory at Crossroads at Big Creek in Door County, Wis. More at UW Oshkosh Course EGRT 374 FINAL 01-11-22
