UW-Green Bay is hosting a free half-day workshop, Understanding the Green Bay Area of Concern, on Wednesday, August 19, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Jack Day Environmental Center in Green Bay.
The workshop is free and open to both classroom and informal educators. It will feature
- Presentations from Area of Concern ecologists, restoration scientists and land managers
- A short boat tour highlighting restoration projects
- Hands-on activities that can be adapted for use in the classroom
- A light breakfast and lunch
